These terms govern your use of https://agentgovernancefoundation.comand all content, specifications, and code published by Agent Governance Foundation ("AGF"), operated by Ramesh Kalimuthu, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. By using this site you agree to these terms.

1. Nature of this project

Agent Governance Foundation is an independent standards and technology company building governance infrastructure for autonomous AI agents. The frameworks and specifications published here are open standards. The software implementation is a proprietary commercial product.

Creating an account on the AGF platform ( https://app.agentgovernancefoundation.com) — including agent registration, delegation, and subscription billing — is governed by the platform's own Terms of Service, not these terms.

2. Intellectual property

Specification documents, architecture diagrams, and written content published on this site are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC-BY 4.0). You may reproduce and adapt them provided you give appropriate credit to Agent Governance Foundation.

The AGF software implementation (the authorization runtime, SDKs, and related tooling) is proprietary and confidential. All rights reserved. Unauthorized copying, distribution, or use is strictly prohibited without prior written permission from Agent Governance Foundation.

The AGF name, logo, and shield mark are trademarks of Agent Governance Foundation. You may not use them to imply endorsement or affiliation without written permission.

3. Use of specifications

The specifications and architectural frameworks published by AGF are provided for the purpose of enabling interoperable implementations. Implementing a specification does not grant you any rights to the AGF trademark or the right to claim official certification or compliance.

AGF makes no guarantee that implementing its specifications will not infringe third-party patents. You are responsible for performing your own freedom-to-operate analysis before building commercial products.

4. No warranty

All content, specifications, code, and materials are provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind — express, implied, or statutory — including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

AGF does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AGF and Ramesh Kalimuthu shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of this site or any materials published on it, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Third-party links

This site links to external resources (GitHub, research papers, standards bodies). AGF has no control over and accepts no responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those sites.

7. Contributions

The AGF specification repositories on GitHub accept community contributions under CC BY 4.0. By submitting a pull request or issue to a specification repository, you agree to license your contribution under the same terms. Contributions to proprietary implementation repositories require a signed Contributor License Agreement (CLA) before they can be accepted.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

9. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
